Wildomar Personal Injury Lawyer

Wildomar’s name is a family puzzle: Wil for William Collier, do for Donald Graham and mar for Margaret Collier Graham, who laid out the townsite in 1885. For more than a century it was an unincorporated community along the old Santa Fe rail line. It became a city on July 1, 2008. By the 2020 Census it had 36,875 residents, more than double its population in 2000, and a median age of 37.1.

Fast growth brings new tracts, new traffic and more people on roads built for a smaller town. A Wildomar personal injury lawyer can get your report, gather records from the hospital and handle the insurers so you can focus on getting better. Our Riverside office is about 26 miles away, and our Lake Forest office is about the same distance. Lea esta página en español.

The Region’s Trauma Center Is Here

Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital, 36485 Inland Valley Drive, sits in Wildomar. It is an American College of Surgeons–verified Level II trauma center, with trauma surgeons in-house 24 hours a day, and it says it is the only hospital in southwest Riverside County designated a trauma center by the county. With 945 employees, it’s also the city’s second-largest employer, after the Lake Elsinore Unified School District.

The hospital’s own trauma page says motor vehicle accidents cause the vast majority of the trauma it treats in southwest Riverside County, with falls second. Those are the two kinds of cases we see most often too.

If you were treated there, keep your discharge papers, ask for an itemized bill and write down the names of the doctors who saw you. Hospital records are often the backbone of an injury claim.

I-15 Through the Middle of Town

Interstate 15 splits Wildomar in two, carrying traffic between Lake Elsinore, Murrieta and Temecula. Wildomar’s history ties to it: the old railroad stop sat near what is now Clinton Keith Road, and the city grew again after the freeway arrived in the 1980s. Riverside Transit Agency Routes 8 and 23 provide local bus service.

Freeway commuters exit onto the same city streets that serve local schools and shopping. A rear-end crash at an off-ramp signal can still cause real neck and back injuries. See rear-end collision fault in California.

Who Takes the Report in Wildomar

Wildomar contracts with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office. Local policing is run from the Sheriff’s station in Lake Elsinore.

  • Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station: 333 Limited Avenue, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530. Phone (951) 245-3300.
  • Sheriff non-emergency line: (951) 776-1099. Call 911 in an emergency.

Crashes on I-15 usually go to the CHP Temecula Area office, 27685 Commerce Center Drive, Temecula, (951) 466-4300.

Report copies. For a Sheriff’s report, contact the station that wrote it. Call ahead if it has been less than 14 days, and bring photo ID. The online payment form lists $25 per traffic report plus a transaction fee. A CHP report costs $10 for 1 to 25 pages, online or by form CHP 190.
