Crashes in event traffic can involve parking-lot collisions, pedestrians walking to and from lots, and rideshare pick-ups. Under the Riverside Superior Court order effective August 1, 2026, unlimited civil cases from ZIP 92276 (Thousand Palms) are generally filed at the Palm Springs Courthouse, 3255 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs. The Larson Justice Center (46-200 Oasis Street, Indio) handles criminal and traffic matters in the east valley, so if the other driver is cited or charged (for example, with DUI), that part of the case may be heard in Indio — separately from your injury claim. The usual private-party injury deadline under Code of Civil Procedure section 335.1 is two years from the injury.
