Eastvale Personal Injury Lawyer
Eastvale was dairy farms and fields until the late 1990s, when families from Orange and Los Angeles counties started moving in for more affordable housing. It became a city on October 1, 2010, and had 69,757 residents in the 2020 Census. The city runs from Hellman Avenue and the San Bernardino County line on the west to Interstate 15 on the east, with State Route 60 to the north and the Santa Ana River and Norco to the south. Its name goes back to “East Vale,” a Riverside County school district listed in 1893.
Because it sits between I-15 and State Routes 60, 71 and 91, Eastvale is very much a commuter town. If you were hurt on the way to work, school or practice, an Eastvale personal injury lawyer can help you get the right report, handle the insurance calls and keep your claim on schedule.
Eastvale’s Main Roads, Rebuilt for Growth
Several of Eastvale’s main roads have been rebuilt or extended in recent years to keep up with growth:
- I-15 at Limonite Avenue. Riverside County rebuilt this interchange between 2018 and 2019. The project widened the Limonite overcrossing from four to six lanes, rebuilt the ramps with new loop ramps, and lengthened the on- and off-ramps for more room to speed up and slow down.
- Limonite Avenue to Hellman Avenue. The Limonite Gap Closure opened on October 21, 2024. It added a bridge over the Cucamonga Creek Channel and connected Limonite from Archibald Avenue to Hellman Avenue, creating a direct east-west route between the 15 and the 71, with bike and pedestrian facilities on both sides.
- Hamner Avenue and the Santa Ana River. The new six-lane Mayor Berwin Hanna Bridge opened on August 26, 2024, replacing a two-lane bridge built in 1939. Hamner was widened from two to six lanes nearby, and the bridge has a 12-foot separated trail for people walking, biking and riding horses. County officials describe Hamner as an alternative route to I-15.
New lanes and new connections bring more traffic and new patterns. Drivers who have used a road for years can be caught off guard by new signals, merges or a roundabout. If you were hit at one of these locations, photos of the signs, lane markings and signals help show what each driver could see.
Who Takes the Report in Eastvale
Eastvale doesn’t have its own police department. The city contracts with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office. The deputies assigned to Eastvale work out of the Jurupa Valley Station, and the station’s commander serves as Eastvale’s police chief.
- Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station: 7477 Mission Blvd, Jurupa Valley, CA 92509. Phone (951) 955-2600.
- Non-emergency dispatch: (951) 776-1099. Call 911 in an emergency.
Crashes on I-15 and SR-60 are generally handled by the CHP Riverside Area office, 8118 Lincoln Ave, Riverside, (951) 324-7210.
Sheriff’s reports. The Sheriff’s Office says to ask for your report at the station that wrote it. Call ahead if it has been less than 14 days. Bring a government photo ID, or mail a copy with your request. Reports are released only to involved parties and their representatives, and fees must be paid first. The Sheriff’s online records payment form lists $25 for a crime or traffic report, plus a small transaction fee.

Which Court Hears an Eastvale Case
Eastvale has two ZIP codes, 91752 and 92880. Under Riverside Superior Court’s current filing order, both send:
- Unlimited civil cases (over $35,000) to the Riverside Historic Courthouse, 4050 Main Street, Riverside.
- Limited civil cases to the Corona Courthouse, 505 S. Buena Vista Avenue, Corona.
Most injury lawsuits must be filed within two years. A claim against a public agency, for example over a road design or signal problem, usually requires a written claim within six months. See the statute of limitations for car accidents in California.
Your Accident Doesn’t Have to Be Major to Matter
A low-speed bump in a school pickup line or a parking-lot back-up crash can still mean a sprained neck, a concussion or a sore back that won’t go away. No case is too small to call.

Eastvale Injury FAQs
Does Eastvale have its own police department?
No. Eastvale contracts with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies assigned to the city work out of the Jurupa Valley Station on Mission Boulevard.
My address says Corona or Mira Loma. Am I in Eastvale?
Possibly. Eastvale’s ZIP codes, 92880 and 91752, are often used with Corona and Mira Loma mailing addresses. The agency on your crash report depends on where the crash happened, not your mailing address.
The crash happened on the I-15 ramp at Limonite. Who has the report?
Freeway ramps are usually handled by the CHP. If the crash was on Limonite Avenue itself, the Sheriff’s Office usually takes it. The card the officer gave you names the agency.
Which courthouse would hear my case?
For both Eastvale ZIP codes, unlimited civil cases go to the Riverside Historic Courthouse, and limited civil cases go to the Corona Courthouse.
What does it cost to talk to you?
The consultation is free, and we’re available 24/7.
