Buena Park sits in northern Orange County. James A. Whitaker founded the town in 1887, and it incorporated on January 27, 1953. The 2020 Census counted 84,034 residents. Beach Boulevard, the E-Zone and the Freeways
Beach Boulevard (State Route 39) is Buena Park’s main north-south street. Along it sits the E-Zone entertainment district, home to Knott’s Berry Farm, Knott’s Soak City, Medieval Times and Pirate’s Dinner Adventure. Knott’s is the city’s largest employer.
