Menifee Personal Injury Lawyer

Menifee is one of Riverside County’s newest cities. It incorporated in 2008, and by the 2020 Census it had 102,527 residents. The name comes from miner Luther Menifee Wilson, who found a gold-bearing quartz ledge near today’s Holland and Murrieta roads in 1883. The city includes Sun City, Del Webb’s retirement community from the early 1960s, plus Quail Valley and Romoland. About 22% of residents speak Spanish at home, according to American Community Survey estimates.

Menifee’s Main Roads

  • Interstate 215 runs through the middle of the city. The Scott Road interchange was rebuilt in 2020, and a new interchange at Garbani Road is planned.
  • Newport Road and Dominegoni Parkway form the main east-west route.
  • Scott Road, McCall Boulevard and Ethanac Road carry cross-town traffic, and State Route 74 runs through the north end.
  • Murrieta, Bradley, Haun, Antelope and Menifee roads are the main north-south streets.

With retirees in Sun City and young families in new neighborhoods, Menifee streets see older drivers, school traffic and pedestrians. If you were hit while walking, see our pedestrian accident lawyer page.

A Newer Police Department

Menifee ended its contract with the Riverside County Sheriff and launched its own Menifee Police Department in July 2020. For a traffic collision report:

  • Call Records at (951) 723-1500 to confirm the report is ready.
  • Reports can be bought online through LexisNexis, or requested by mail to Menifee Police Department, Attn: Records Bureau, 29714 Haun Road, Menifee, CA 92586, with a copy of your photo ID.

On I-215, the CHP usually takes the report. The CHP Temecula Area office, 27685 Commerce Center Drive, Temecula, patrols I-215, and the CHP Riverside Area office also patrols parts of I-215 and Romoland. Ask which office handled your crash.

Hospitals

  • Menifee Global Medical Center, an 84-bed acute care hospital on McCall Boulevard, opened in 1989.
  • Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar is a Level II trauma center.
